Our Story
SOTI started as something personal.
I’m always this person who picks up on the little things how a subtle scent can change the whole vibe of a room, how a flickering candle can make an ordinary night feel like yours.
For a long time I searched for candles that felt right. Safe to burn at home. Beautiful enough to leave on display. Personal enough to actually mean something. Most of what I found was either too expensive, too generic, or made with materials I did not feel comfortable with. Nothing matched the warm, intentional aesthetic I was looking for without the worry.
So I decided to make it myself.
What started as a small personal project grew into something I did not expect. I began experimenting with soy wax and beeswax, carefully choosing fragrance oils free from harmful chemicals, and designing each piece to feel as warm and considered as the scent inside it. When I shared the first pieces, the response told me everything — people were not just responding to the product. They were responding to the feeling.
That is how SOTI was born.

Soy wax and beeswax
The foundation of every SOTI candle, with a small amount of natural palm wax used in some pieces purely to help hold decorative shapes. No synthetic additives. No paraffin. Ever.
Decorative gel wax
Some of our candles, like the Matcha and Iced Latte, feature decorative visual elements that recreate the layered, textured look of the drink they are inspired by. These details are made with clear gel wax, chosen purely for its visual clarity and ability to hold shape beautifully. Gel wax is non-toxic, safe to burn, and widely used in decorative candle making. We use it only where the design genuinely calls for it.
Clean fragrance oils
Carefully selected fragrance oils, free from harmful chemicals, chosen for their quality, safety, and lasting scent performance.
